By Air

I Lecci is two hours drive from Rome’s Fiumicino and Campiano Airports, and Pisa’s Galileo Airport.

Florence’s Americo Vespucci Airport is one and a half hours by road and the house is easily accessible from Perugia, Ancona and Bologna Airports.

Trains

Just 20 minutes from the house, Chiusi-Chianciano station is on the main North-South line. From there, express trains take you to most major destinations.

Buses

A regular bus service operates between Pozzuolo and Castiglione del Lago – a distance of six kilometres.

Driving Directions

Driving north from Rome
Take the A1 Roma / Firenze Autostrada in the direction of Florence and leave the motorway at the Chiusi-Chianciano exit, 140 kilometers from Rome. The town of Pozzuolo is 20 kilometers from the exit in the direction of Chiusi, and the small village of Gioella.

Driving south from Florence or Pisa
Take the A1 Firenze / Roma Autostrada in the direction of Rome and leave the motorway at the Valdichiana-Betolle-Sinalunga exit, 100 kilometers from Florence. The town of Pozzuolo is 25 kilometers from the exit, in the direction of Cortona and Montepulciano.

From Castiglione
Once in the center of Castiglione del Lago the village of Pozzuolo is 6 kilometres away in the direction of Montepulciano.
